Multiple servers in the DataClient / DataPool
Download and Installation
In case the EGR-LicenseClient isn't already installed on your computer, download it here. After the download finished, a new ZIP file can be found in your downloads folder. Right-click this ZIP file and select Extract All to extract its contents for installation.

By extracting the ZIP file, a new folder called license-client-1.x.x will be created. Open this folder and run the contained file setup.exe with a double-click.

Follow the instructions of the installer. You don't have to change any settings, only click on Next until you reach the window seen on below screenshot. Click on Install.

Configuring the EGR-LicenseClient
After the successful installation of the EGR-LicenseClient the required license can be installed and activated.
For this purpose, the profile data is entered after the first start of the EGR LicenseClient. This is required in order to assign the client to the license key. Select View/Edit contact details and click on Next.

Fill out all required fields in the form. These are marked with a red asterisk. Then click Next.

Fill out all required fields in the form on this page, too. In this case, you just have to enter your company name and click on Next.

After your profile info has been entered, the first license can be installed and activated on your system. Click on Add license key. Make sure that the pCon.update DataClient is installed at version 1.8.1 minimum. To check this, open the DataClient and click on the question mark top right and then on About. The version number is displayed in the new window.

The license key is a 20-digit combination of uppercase letters. You can easily copy it from the email and paste it in, using CTRL + V. Alternatively, you can type the key in manually.

After entering the license key, the EGR-LicenseClient will connect to the Internet to check the key and download the license. The license is automatically recorded in the corresponding application and can be used immediately. No more user intervention is required.

Configuring the servers in the DataClient
After the license for the multi-server support is activated, the DataClient must be restarted. To open the multi-server support section in the DataClient, click on Settings and on Network → Server in the left pane. Make sure that the following server addresses are set in the list:
- Vitra: https://ofml.vitra.com
- EasternGraphics: https://update.easterngraphics.com

If one of the two server addresses are still missing, you can add them via Add.... Note that valid credentials must be provided for each server (in the case of Vitra it's the login to the Extranet). Both server addresses must be active in order to download and install updates from them.
After closing the settings using the OK button, the DataClient is now set for automatic retrieval of both servers (Vitra and EasternGraphics). The update can be started immediately.
